Dorothy Bass Obituary

Dorothy Lee Graczyk Bass age 75 of Whiteville and formerly of Chadbourn, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.

Dorothy was born on July 8, 1948, to the late Channey Graczyk and Susie Ann Watts Graczyk. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Margaret Ann Bullard Cassiday and Janice Cliff.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Willard McPherson officiating.

A visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:00-5:50 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Survivors include her two children, Kelly L. Bass of Whiteville and Ronald Thomas “Tommy” Bass, Jr. of Whiteville; and a grandson, Tyler Blake Hayes.
