Donald "Donnie" McPherson

Donald Ray McPherson, lovingly known as “Donnie”, passed away on April 1, 2026, at Liberty Commons Nursing Center in Wilmington, NC.

Donnie was born on June 17, 1952, son of the late David Lewis McPherson and Hazel Godwin McPherson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Tina McPherson and his sister, Michelle “Shelley” McPherson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Worthington Funeral Home.

The surviving family includes two children, Andrea McPherson Spivey and husband, Jonathan, Gabriel “Gabe” McPherson (Hannah); grandson, Caleb Spivey; sister, Alice Hooks and husband, Ben; brother-in-law, Jacob McPherson.
