Debbie Christine (Gore) Mercer

Debbie Christine Gore Mercer, age 75 of the Beaverdam Community in Chadbourn, passed away, along with her Husband, Don, on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.

Christine was born on August 26, 1946, in Horry County, to the late Austin and Fannie Alene Fipps Gore. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Ann Mercer. Along with her parents, daughter and husband, Christine was also preceded in death by her siblings, Frankie Gore and Diane Gore Causey.

A graveside service will be held for Christine and her husband, Don at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Mercer Cemetery with Reverend Buddy Seay officiating.

Survivors include her children, Donald Wayne Mercer (Brenda) of Chadbourn, Ricky Dean Mercer of the home; siblings, Ina Pearl Gore Soles of Chadbourn, and Michael Gore of Loris; grandchildren, Brandon, AJ, John, Ricky, Jr. and LJ; and a great-grandson, Bryson Mercer.
