David Pearson Moore Obituary
Mr. David Pearson Moore, age 89 of Whiteville died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at his residence. He was the son of the late Eddie and Ressie Lee Ward Moore and preceded in death by three children, Ronald William Moore, Carolyn Diane Moore and Gwen Moore Keith. Final rites will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Union Valley Baptist Church with Reverend Thomas Fairfax and Reverend Barry Thompson officiating. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Louise Townsend Moore of the home; three daughters, Gladys Moore Watts of Whiteville, Elizabeth Moore of Whiteville, and Brenda Moore Wiggins of Clarkton; three sons, Ralph Moore of Chadbourn, Grady Moore of Mullins. SC, and Donald Moore of Whiteville; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
