Daniel Rick Godwin, age 25 of Cerro Gordo, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27, 2019 at his home. Daniel was born on August 6, 1994 in Horry County. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn with Rev. John Correll officiating. Interment will follow in the Godwin Cemetery, Cerro Gordo. Visitation will eb held from 6:00-8:00, Tuesday evening at Worthington Funeral Home. To cherish his memory, Daniel leaves behind his beloved parents, Kenneth Godwin and Melissa Hayes Godwin of the home; maternal grandparents, George & Virginia Hayes of Lake Waccamaw, paternal grandmother, Ruby Miller of Whiteville; paternal grandfather, Kenneth M. Godwin of Cerro Gordo; brother, James Godwin (Katie); aunts and uncles, Jennifer & Lane Strickland of Cerro Gordo, Terry & Crystal Priest of Clarkton; B.J. & Matt Horne of Cerro Gordo, Kenny Ray Godwin of Bladenboro, Sheila Watts (Glen) of Tabor City; cousins, Hannah, Chloe, Tori, Colby, Shyleigh, Makenlee.
