Dale McDuffie Hammond, age 56 of Cerro Gordo died Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Final rites will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Neill Smith and Reverend Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Powell Cemetery, Fair Bluff. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Edwards Hammond of the home; daughters, Joanna A. Hammond of Cerro Gordo, Amanda L. Stocks of Ocean Isle Beach, and Stephanie H. Hammond of Cerro Gordo; parents, Joanne K. and Troy McDuffie Hammond, Jr. of Cerro Gordo. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
