Cerro Gordo--Mrs. Cora Lee Stone Harrelson, age 88 of Cerro Gordo died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Liberty Commons in Whiteville. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Mowery officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. She was the widow of the late Wesley W. Harrelson. She is survived by daughters, Ruth H. Updegraff of Raleigh and Kathleen H. Dillingham of Jacksonville; sons, Dan Harrelson of Denver, Colorado and Clarence Buster Harrelson of Wilmington; a sister, Allie Mae Ward of Chadbourn; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home.
