*SERVICE TIME CHANGE*

Connie Elaine Church Grice age 63, of Effingham, SC and formerly of Whiteville passed on April 19, 2021 at MUSC Healthcare in Florence, SC.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Hosea Simmons Cemetery, Whiteville; Rev. Larry Cartrette will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.

Elaine was the daughter of the late Dewey Austin Church and Faye H. Huffman Church and the widow of Woody Grice.& She was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Benny Dishman, Laura Madron, Richard Dishman, Charlotte Barnett, Paula Dishman, Billy Dishman and Donnie Dishman.

Elaine is survived by a son Keith Church of Whiteville; five siblings, Daryl L. Church (Nellie) of Bluff City, TN, Anthony Dishman of Hampton, TN, Mary Ann Watts, of Pittsburg, PA, Brenda Dishman of Hampton, TN and Pete Ward of Whiteville; a grandchild, Zalaylah Evans Church; special adopted grandchildren, Zayne Broach, Zyler Broach, Zelaina Clemons and Izzy Clemons; and many loving nieces and nephews.
