Clauson Buffkin Obituary

Clauson Elliot Buffkin age 79 of Whiteville passed on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 4:00 - 5:00 p.m Monday one hour prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home. He was the son of the late Gertrude "Frostie" Roberts Buffkin and Emerson Roscoe Buffkin. He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Edna Earle Buffkin Britt and Edgar Buffkin. He is survived by a son, Richard "Ricky" Elliot Buffkin of Chadbourn; a daughter, Amy Buffkin of Jacksonville, FL; three siblings, Rachel B. Bulliner of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Ann B. Gigurie of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Larry Edison Buffkin of Elizabethtown; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
