Charles Henry Reynolds, age 78 of Lake Waccamaw, entered into the joys of Heaven on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville, NC.
Charles was born on October 4, 1942 in Columbus County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Murkson Reynolds and Essie Elliott Reynolds and his siblings, Ned Reynolds, Judy R. Hinson, and Raymond Reynolds.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Whiteville Memorial Cemetery; Rev. William Shalk will officiate.
Charles was an avid fisherman. While he enjoyed fishing very much, he also loved having family fishfries.
To cherish his memory, Charles leaves behind his beloved wife of 59 years, Hilda Cartrette Reynolds of the home; children, Charles “Dewayne” Reynolds and wife, Regina, of Lake Waccamaw, Sue Reynolds Benton and husband, Steven, of Chadbourn, Greg Reynolds of Lake Waccamaw, and Terry Reynolds and wife, Pam, of Whiteville; grandchildren, Brian Reynolds, Jason Reynolds, Nathan Reynolds, Brandon Reynolds, Cody Reynolds, Jonathan Reynolds, Zachary Reynolds, Alexis Reynolds, and Justin Benton; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Brayden, Chase, Ashtyn, Peyton, Aubrey, Spencer, Brently, Daylon, Kristina, Addilyn, Destiny, and Rebecca; sister, Ann Reynolds Watts of Chadbourn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be may to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville or to the Donayre Cancer Care Center in Whiteville.
