Carolyn Mae (Daniels) Norris

Carolyn Mae Daniels Norris age 79, of Nakina went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Center in Whiteville.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Long Cemetery in Crusoe with Reverend Larry Greenwood officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00, Thursday evening, at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. 

She was born on July 12, 1941 in Augusta, GA to the late Carl Daniels. She was also preceded in death by her companion, James “Nick” Ralph Long in 2011 and by her son, Devon Norris in 2008.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters Kelsie Carol Norris Long of the home and Lynn Jordan of Loris, SC; seven grandchildren, Hollie Jordan, Heather Bryant (Michael). Lance Jordan (Melissa), Eric Norris (Amber), Sharon Rhue (Curtis), Samuel Long (Stephanie) and Erica Dean (Gabe); and fifteen great-grandchildren.
