Carol Ann (Blackwell) Turbeville

Carol Ann Blackwell Turbeville, age 70 of Clarkton, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, February 25, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Carol was born on July 6, 1950, to the late Howard and Ola Jane Spivey Blackwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Edwin Turbeville; siblings, Mary Jane McDonald, C.M. Blackwell, Brenda Norris, Bitty Ray Blackwell, and an infant baby girl.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Gowan Cemetery, with Rev. Leroy Wright and Pastor Howard Dewayne Griffin officiating.

Survivors include her sons, Pastor Howard Dewayne Griffin and wife, Kathy, of Hallsboro, Steven Ray Griffin and wife, Jamie, of Clarkton; grandchildren: Whitney Jacobs Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Stephanie Griffin, Alexis Griffin, and Jacob Griffin; brother, James Howard Blackwell of Clarkton, and a special pet dog, “Little man”.
