Billy Wayne Soles

Billy Wayne Soles, age 55 of Whiteville passed on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.

Final rites will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery, Whiteville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.

Billy was employed by the NC Department of Public Safety at the Tabor City Correctional Institute.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dalton Soles.

He is survived by his wife, Pandora “Pam” Densie Brewer Soles of the home; a daughter, Bristol Shandora Soles Rawls of the home; his mother, Linda Phillips of Whiteville; two sisters, Paula Faye Powell of Whiteville and Belinda Kay Compton of Tabor City; a grandchild, Mason Lloyd Rawls; nieces, Amanda Dawn Powell of Whiteville and Tiffany Jean Harrelson of Tabor City; a nephew, William Chad Loika of Tabor City; and two great-nephews.

Pallbearers for the funeral service will be Terence Kelly Lee, Travis Gore, Logan Britt, Neil Ward, Kendal Ward and Dana Gore; honorary pallbearers; Richard Powell and Jeffrey Simmons.
