Billy Michael “Mickey” Adams, Sr., age 75 of Tabor City, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.

Mickey was born on May 23, 1945 in Columbus County, to the late Taylor Adams and Bessie Ward Adams. He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Michael Adams, Jr. and his sibling, Virginia Dare Adams.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Sarah Adams of Chadbourn, grandchildren, Brandon Adams (Sunshine), Taylor Adams (Megan), Christopher Adams; great-grandchildren, Matthew Michael Adams, Shaleigh Irene Adams and Caleb Benson; siblings, Barbara Adams White of Whiteville, David Ollie Adams of Columbia, SC, Marilyn Adams Brice of Aynor, SC, Allyn Delane Adams, Sr. (Gloria) of Salisbury, John Dean Adams, Sr. (Jean) of Wilmington, Robert Eugene Adams, Sr. (Anita) of Clarkton, and Michael Adams of Raleigh.
