Betty Williams Turbeville, 79, of Clarkton, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Betty was born on September 21, 1946 to the late James Adolphus Williams and Doshie McDuffie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burris Turbeville; sons, Frank Jones and George Cameron; and siblings, Kathleen Rogers, Sallie McCoy, Mary Morris, JD Williams, Don Williams, and Frank Williams. 

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Priest and Elder Michael Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in the Turbeville Family Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Worthington Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. 

Surviving family includes her children, Linda Kay Jones of Clarkton, Shirley Cain of Bladenboro, Craig E Turbeville (Lisa) of Clarkton; a brother, Ronnie Williams of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Heather Turbeville, Brittney Jones, Kristin Jones, Austin Turbeville, Savannah Turbeville, Madison McIntyre, Bethenny McIntyre; great grandchildren, Liam Andrew Blackmon and Secret Autumn Price; daughter in law, Kristi Jones
