Mrs. Betty Lou Price McPherson, age 66 of Whiteville died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcares System in Whiteville. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Union Valley Baptist Church with Reverend Barry Thompson and Reverend Tim Driggers officiating. Interment will follow in the McPherson Cemetery, Whiteville. She was the daughter of the late James Ford and Molcie Penny Price and was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lois Long and Dorothy Lee Price. She is survived by her husband, Frazier A. McPherson of the home; daughter, Tracy L. McPherson of the home; sons, Bobby W. McPherson and Ricky D. McPherson both of Whiteville; brothers, Elwood Price and Lewis Price both of Whiteville; sisters, Esther P. Byrd of Hallsboro, Kathleen P. Jones of Leland, Mamie P. Bass of Fayetteville and Nellie P. McPherson of Whiteville; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
