Betty Lou (Robinson) Spivey

Betty Lou Robinson Spivey age 66 of Whiteville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 27,2021 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.

She was daughter of the late William Boyd Robinson and Susie Newman Robinson.  She was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Boyd Robinson, Floyd Robinson, David Robinson, Glenwood Robinson, Edward Robinson, Charles Robinson and Ruby Robinson.

Betty loved her family; her family was her whole world.  She was a life member of VFW Auxiliary 8073.  She loved roses and was a Carolina Tarheels fan.  

Final rites will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend John Bettie officiating  Interment will follow in the Wright Cemetery, Clarendon.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home on Saturday.

Betty is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul Ray Spivey of the home; daughters, Angela Norris (Randy) of Chadbourn and Tina Smith of Aberdeen; sons, Paul Junior Spivey (Terrie) of Chadbourn and Buddy Joe Spivey (Stacy) of Whiteville; siblings, Louise Greene (Jeff) of Cerro Gordo and Robert Robinson (Rhonda) ; grandchildren, Shani Spivey, William Spivey, Donathan Spivey, CJ Spivey, AJ Benton Justin Campbell and Jayden Spivey; great-grandchildren, Lennox Todd and Integra Ward.
