Austin Blythe Jordan

Austin Blythe Jordan, age 18 of White Lake, slipped into eternity on Sunday, March 21, 2021.

Austin was born on February 12, 2003. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Hyman Richard Robinson, Sr.; paternal grandfather, James “Jimmy” Jordan.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 2, at 3:00 p.m. at Legion Memorial Stadium, 1321 Chadbourn Hwy., Whiteville. A private Graveside service for the family was held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lake Waccamaw, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. 

Austin was a senior at Whiteville High School, where he was a member of the Whiteville Wolfpack Football Team (#31). He was also an Eagle Scout of Troop 512.

To cherish his memory, Austin leaves behind his father, Blythe Lee Jordan of White Lake; mother, Tammy Robinson Lovett and husband, Pat, of Tabor City; siblings, Ashley Jordan, Tiffany Nickle, Hayden Lovett, Brock Lovett, Bailey Lovett, Riley Lovett, Kolton Lovett, and Evan Powell; step-mother, Sherry Jordan of Leland; maternal grandmother, Ruby Robinson of Bolton; paternal grandparents, Elaine Jordan of Faison, Carolyn Jordan of Clinton; grandmother, Lou Lovett of Tabor City; step-grandparents, Diane Jones (David) of Smithfield and Clifton Jones of Princeton.

A scholarship has been set up in Austin’s name with the Boy Scout Troop 512. Donations may be sent to Friends of Troop 512 in care of First Presbyterian Church, 511 N. Thompson Street, Whiteville 28472.
