Audie Wayne Strickland, age 57 of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River.
Audie was born on December 18, 1968. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Bowen Strickland and his wife, Frances Elisa Strickland
A private graveside service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Audie honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was currently employed as a Sergeant with the Tabor City Correctional Institution.
The surviving family includes five children: Michael Strickland, Dakota Strickland, Dante' Strickland, X-Avier Strickland, Jerry Williams; grandchildren, Chelsie, Justin, Emberly, Carolyn, Lilly Ann, Maleigh, Corbin; siblings, Kecia Strickland, Michelle Strickland, Kevin Strickland, Sharon Hamilton; father, Thomas Howard Strickland.
