Mr. Archie Clarence Forrester, age 67 of Evergreen died at his residence Thursday, July 29, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend Vernon Williamson and Dr. Ray Thigpen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He was the son of the late Clarence Forrester and Amanda Jane Warren Stoker. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ivey Forrester of the home; a daughter, Renee F. Ward of Evergreen; a son, Jeff Forrester of Spring Hill, FL; sisters, Brenda F. Heisler of Seffner, Florida and Hilda S. Hinson of Lumber Bridge; granddaughter, Sarah-Ivey Ward and a grandson, Lawson Ward and a special cousin, Ruby Matthews of Autryville. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. No service information has been added.
