Andrew "Drew" Augusta Hewett

Andrew “Drew” Augusta Hewett age 29 of Southport passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at his residence in Southport.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Worthington Funeral Home (405 E. Strawberry Blvd) Chadbourn, NC 28431.

He was preceded in death by two brothers,  Gerardo Javier Sanchez-Mencia and Orries Sanchez-Mencia.

Drew is survived by two children, Aiden James Hewett and his mother Ashley Fowler and Greyson Ryker Flynn and his mother, Jasmine Pigg; his parents, Ronald Dale Cheers and companion, Selena McPherson of Supply and mother, Tara Lane Hewett Nunez of Orlando, FL; siblings, Corey Cheers of Supply, NC, Amber Cheers Caisson of Holden Beach, NC, Jakop Fipps (Elizabeth) of Supply, Kelvin Ty'John Thompson of Supply, Michael Travon Thompson of Supply, Sebastian Thompson of Whiteville and Brianna Grainger of Ash; grandmother, Betty Diane Tharpe Cheers; grandfather, Ronald Cheers of Shallotte and grandparents, Patricia "Sue" Worley and Johnny Worley of Tabor City.
