Allie (Hinson) McDowell

Allie Hinson McDowell, age 92 of the Beaverdam Community in Chadbourn, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville, NC.

Allie was born on November 16, 1927, to the late Van Devon Hinson and Mary Eliza Godwin Hinson. She was the widow of Arthur Fowler, who preceded her in 1974.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City; Pastor Buddy Seay will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.

To cherish her memory, Allie leaves behind her step-daughter, Ruthene Fowler Buff (Willie) of Greenville, SC; nieces and nephews, Devon Hinson (Rose) of Chadbourn, Rita Davis (Danny of Chadbourn, Rhonda Alderman (Junior) of Whiteville, Wanda Gore of Whiteville, Paula Sealey of Fayetteville, Donnie Hinson of California, Phyllis Hester (Adron) of Whiteville, and many great-nieces and nephews; step-grandson, Gregory Clemons of Tabor City; step-great-granddaughter, Ashlee Clemons of Tabor City.
