Allen Henry Nelson, Jr.

Allen Henry Nelson, Jr. age 78 of Whiteville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021, at his home, surrounded by family.

Allen was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Milliken Nelson and his son, Steven Randolph Nelson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 at Peace Baptist Church, with Rev. Steven Cox and Rev. Chip Hannah officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Survivors include one son, Brian Allen Nelson of Whiteville; two grandchildren, Samantha Nelson Suggs (Justin), and Brianna Hope Nelson; great-grandson, Henry Edsel Suggs; sister, Eileen Denny of Phoenix, AZ; special friend, Denise Naugle.
