Alice Marie Williamson Hammond, 85, of Chadbourn, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 3, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Hammond was born on November 14, 1939, daughter of the late Rosada McPherson Willamson and Emory Nubert Williamson. She is also preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Dwane Hammond and her brother, Robert Lee Williamson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Williamsons Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Trenton Ford and Reverend Jim Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday, at the church.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Gail Hammond; son, Edwin “Ed” Hammond of Chadbourn; daughter-in-law, Debbie Fowler Hammond of Loris; grandson, Gage Fowler Hammond of Loris.
