Alice Faye (Long) Battista

Alice Faye Long Battista, age 57 of Whiteville entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Columbus Regional HealthCare System in Whiteville.

She was the daughter of the late Barney Cephus Long and Mary Lois Price Long.  She was also preceded in death by two siblings, Mary Louise Simmons and Barbara Jo Long.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 PM, one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

To cherish her memory she leaves her husband, Daniel Donald Battista, Jr. of the home;  children, Timothy Allen King of Chadbourn, James Thomas King of Whiteville, Dana Michelle King (Sam Gray) of Southport, Francesca Faye Hayes (Aaron) of Whiteville, Arianna Danielle Faye King of Whiteville, Hope Sarah Lowery of Whiteville; a step-daughter, Megan Lee Miller (Nic) of Baraboo, Wisconsin; siblings, Judy Bass (Junior) of Whiteville, Joyce King (Joey) of Chadbourn, Wanda Long of Chadbourn, Patricia King (Howard) of Cerro Gordo, Jackie Cartrette (Darrell) of Cerro Gordo and Elizabeth Mitchell of Virginia Beach, VA;  14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
