Willie Lamar Weathers

Mr. Willie Lamar Weathers, age 52 of Whiteville, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. A native of Columbus County, Lamar was the son of the late James Garland Weathers and Mary Lou Maddox Weathers. To cherish his precious memory, Lamar leaves behind his beloved wife, Debra Ann Quick Weathers of the home; siblings, Garland Loran Weathers of the home, Lynell Weathers Mishoe (Glenn) of Charleston, SC, Lisa W. Shipman (Darren) of Leland; Sister-in-law, Cindy Q. Schneider; Nieces & Nephews, Brandi Hodnett (Kyle), Bryan Kissam (Geri), Brandon Fisher, Brooke Mansfield (Brooks), Baleigh Fisher, Kristopher Weathers, Jenna Schneider, Stephen Schneider, and Scott Schneider; six great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Services celebrating Lamars life, will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery with Elder Ricky Strickland officiating, following the visitation. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, at Worthington Funeral Home (prior to Graveside Service.)
