Wanda Lee Norris Blackmon, age 59 of Tabor City went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Simmons, Reverend Charles Dudley and Reverend James Howard Nobles officiating. Interment will follow in the Soles Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. She was the daughter of the late Gladys Thompkins Norris Wheeler and Herman Norris. To cherish her memory she leaves her husband, Joseph "Joey" Lee Blackman, Jr. of the home, a son, James Allen Woodard, Jr. of Chadbourn; siblings, Norman Norris, Glenda N. Holden, Cathy N. Griffin, Cecil Norris, and Chris Norris all of Tabor City; and a grandson, Nicholas Woodard.
