Teresa Atkinson Obituary

Teresa Kaye Bass Atkinson, age 63 of New Bern passed on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCare Center in Whiteville. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Donald Conway officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Bass formerly of Chadbourn and her grandmother, Golie Coleman Ellis of Chadbourn. She is survived by two children, Jaysun Tinsley of Beaufort and Shannon Atkinson of Havelock; two brothers, Charles Bass of New Bern and Greg Bass of Fayetteville; and 6 grandchildren.
