Shirley Looper Obituary

Shirley Jane Sellers Looper, age 62 of Whiteville passed on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center in Whiteville. A graveside service will at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Oak Dale Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Dean Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. She was the daughter of the late Rena Bell Soles Sellers and Reverend Robert E. Sellers. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gregory Barry Looper and Michael G. Gray. She is survived by a son, Anthony Gray of Hersey, PA; three sisters, Betty Jo Sellers of Whiteville, Joan Sellers Strickland of Tabor City and Gloria Sellers Evans of Tabor City; three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Shirley S. Looper Burial Fund, c/o Worthington Funeral Home, PO Box 352, Chadbourn, NC 28431. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
