Shirley Brock Obituary

Shirley Guyton Brock, age 83 of Whiteville, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at her home. She was born on March 19, 1936 in Columbus County to the late Grover Guyton and Grace Bullard Guyton. She was the widow of Roger Cortez Brock. Shirley was also preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Brock, Sr. Ms. Brock worked in the textiles industry until her retirement. She is survived by a grandson, Roger Dale Brock, Jr. of Smithfield. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Worthington Funeral Home.
