Roy Dale Ammons

Roy Dale Ammons, age 54 of Bladenboro passed on Monday, May 28, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at the Edwards Ammons Family Cemetery (2517 Arthur Collier Rd., Bladenboro) with Reverend Arthur Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. He was the son of the late Elouise Floyd Ammons and Edward Melvin Ammons. He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Mickey Ammons, Horace "Danny" Dan Ammons. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lee Babson Edwards-Ammons of the home; step-son, Michael Edwards (Jennifer) of Chadbourn; four siblings, Eddie Ammons (Marie) of Bladenboro, Kathy A. Dew (Ray) of Chadbourn, Donald Ammons (Jane) of Evergreen and Kay A. Lawhorne (Rick) of Denver; four grandchildren, Nathan Edwards, Mason Edwards, Deacon Gibson and Sadie Gibson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Roy Dale Ammons Burial Fund, c/o Worthington Funeral Home, PO Box 352, Chadbourn, NC 28431.
