Roger Ward Obituary

Roger Dale Ward, age 74 of Leland, finished his journey on earth on February 19, 2019 at Brunswick Cove Nursing Home in Leland. Born on March 2, 1944 in Whiteville, NC, he was the son of the late Edgar Rackley Ward and Gertie Mae Watts Ward. Survivors include his sister, Melva W. Stanley of Leland; two brothers, Walter T. Ward of Hampstead, Donald Ray Ward of Atlanta, GA; nieces and nephews, Loretta Bell of Elizabethtown, George Hodges, III "Trey" of Clarendon, Adam Ward, Shane Ward, Patrick Ward, and two great-nephews, Kannan Hodges & Jeremy Hooks. An internment service will be held on March 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ward Station Church of God Cemetery. Bishop Darrell Hooker will officiate.
