Rhonda Kaye Faircloth Scott, age 57 of Whiteville passed on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Angel House in Whiteville. Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Whiteville with Dr. Joseph Washburn officiating. Interment will follow in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. She was born on January 11, 1961 to the late Emma Frances Langdon Faircloth and Ernest Howard Faircloth. To cherish her memories she leaves her husband, William "Will" Lucius Scott, III of the home; three sons, William Lucius "Luke" Scott, IV and his wife, Kathryn of Florence, SC, Ethan Langdon Scott and his wife, Katherine of Whiteville and Andrew Heath Scott and his wife, Erin of Supply; four siblings, Nancy F. Thurston of Whiteville, Howard Faircloth and his wife, Delana of Live Oak, Eddie Faircloth and his wife, Teresa of Whiteville and Brian Faircloth of Durham; three grandchildren, William Lucius "Liam" Scott, V, Hattie Kaye Scott, and River Langdon Scott.
