Ralph Edwards, Jr. age 71 of Clarendon passed at his residence on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Johnson Family Cemetery (near the residence) with Reverend Russel Long officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family. He was the son of the late Louetta Abby Norris Edwards and Ralph Edwards, Sr. He honorably served his county in the Unites States Army. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Johnson Edwards of the home; daughter, Kimberly Spivey Jeffries (Billy) of Clarendon; his brother, Jackie Edwards (Joanne) of Thomasville; many grand and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice, 46 McNeil Plaza, Whiteville, NC 28472.
