Phillip Jones Obituary

Phillip Gerald Jones, age 37 of Whiteville passed on Thursday at his residence. Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Thurman Chestnut officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Memorial Cemetery at Lake Waccamaw. He was the son of the late Phyllis Graham and Harry James Jones. He is survived by a brother, Victor Harald Jones of Lake Waccamaw; aunts and uncles; Mary Jeanette Graham of Fayetteville, Carlton Graham Lake Waccamaw, Cathy Graham of Lake Waccamaw, Dorothy and Wendell Pollard of Whiteville; Mary and James Ellis of Council, Faye Bryant of Whiteville, Curtis and Deborah Jones of Stafford, VA, Emanuel and Tammy Jones of PA, Willie and Terrianna Jones of Dublin; a great-aunt, Juanita Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw; and a host of cousins. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
