Pauline (Moore) Webb

July 31, 1939 ~ September 30, 2019 (age 80)


Pauline Moore Webb, age 80 of Lake Waccamaw, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 30, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. 

Mrs. Webb was born on July 31, 1939 to the late William Richard Moore and Bessie Mae Baldwin Moore.  Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by three siblings, Gladys Moore, Genora Moore and William Pearson Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church in Buckhead with Reverend Charles P. Locklear, Reverend Mike Jacobs and Reverend Dr. Christopher Webb officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was a devoted member of Morning Star Community Church in Lumberton, of which she attended faithfully, while her health allowed her. Ms. Webb loved her Lord and enjoyed performing various task and roles in the church.  Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.  Her dedication to church, family, and community were significant and will truly be missed. 

To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Reverend Junious Napoleon Webb of the home; five sons and daughters, Tammy M. Young (Chris) of Council, David J. Webb (Victoria) of Lake Waccamaw, Melinda Susan Webb of the home, Reverend Dr. Christopher M. Webb (Carmellia) of Clinton and Johnathan D. Webb (Prusann) of Lake Waccamaw; siblings, Boyd Moore (Nellie) of Bolton, Carrie Marvin  of Whiteville and Lorrie Ann Moore of Bolton; fifteen grandchildren, Derrick Webb, Constance Fowler, Marlena Webb, Kristian Young, Alyssa Holland, David Webb, Isabella Webb, Austin Webb, Connor Young, Noah Webb, Makayla Webb, Autumn Webb, Maria Webb, Jonah Webb and Nayeli Webb; three great-grandchildren; Kyson Fowler, Kasen Fowler and Saylor Fowler.

Services are entrusted to Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
