Paul Redczuk age 73, of Bladenboro passed on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Lifecare Center in Whiteville. A memorial service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Bladenboro with Pastor Anthony Hardin officiating. He was a native of Brazil and the son of the late Justyn Redczuk and Anna Redko Redczuk. At the age of 22 in 1967 he moved to Philadelphia, PA to work as a tailor in the textile industry. Several years later he moved to Whiteville to work for Hart Shaftner & Marx Clothing for ten years; then moving to Mexico to work with Oxford Industries for 2 years before retiring and moving back to the United States. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Wells Redczuk of the home; three children, Sheila Renee Smith of Tabor City, Sandra Carol Riffe (David) of Appling, GA and Stephanie Mae Smith of Tabor City; two brothers, Jacob Redczuk of Philadelphia, PA and Pedro "Peter" Redczuk of Brazil; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
