Neal Williamson Obituary

Neal Morgan Williamson, age 82 of Cerro Gordo passed on Sunday, October 08, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday. October 14, 2017 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Neill Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 2:00 p.m. Saturday (one hour prior to the service) at the funeral home. He was the son of the late Kate Benton Williamson and Enoch Bernard Williamson. He was preceded in death by two step-brothers, Dale Williamson and Butch Williamson. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Frances Carolyn W. Williamson of the home; three children, Leslie Neal Williamson of Little River, SC, Kimberly Carol Williamson Johnson of Conway and Christopher Neal Williamson of N. Charleston, SC; a step-sister, Nancy Ahmed of Wilmington; grandchildren, Justin Morgan Williamson, Matthew Ryan Johnson, Brent Morgan Williamson and Morgan Loraine Johnson. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of Eastern NC, 3131 RDU Center Drive, Suite 100, Morrisville, NC 27560.
