Matthew Glenn Turbeville

Matthew Glenn Turbeville, age 30 of the China Grove community in Chadbourn, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Born on March 27, 1989 in Columbus County, he was the only son of Mr. Glen Dale Turbeville and Donna Lynn Buffkin Turbeville. Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Glencie "Tuncie" Earl and Hilda Nobles Turbeville; maternal grandfather, Bobby Buffkin. Matthew was a member of the Fair Bluff Church of God, which he joined in 2017. He loved life and loved his family. Matthew also enjoyed farming and sharing laughs with others. To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his parents; his wife, Shana Leighann Evans Turbeville of the home; two precious sons, Bryson Glenn Turbeville, Austin Lee Turbeville, maternal grandmother & maternal step-grandfather, Lois Bright Dacus and Harold Dacus of Chadbourn. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor Charles Dudley officiating. Interment will follow in the Turbeville Cemetery in Cerro Gordo. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00, Tuesday evening at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel. .
