Marsha Porter Obituary

Marsha Anne Inman Porter, age 71 of Whiteville, peacefully entered into rest on Friday Afternoon, July 12, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House in Whiteville, while surrounded by her dear family. Born on July 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Jackson Inman, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Edmunds Inman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Inman. Mrs. Porter is survived by her caring husband of 51 years, John Manly Porter of the home; children, John Stephen Porter (Tonya) of Georgia, Stephanie Porter of Georgia; two grandchildren, Bryson Lee Richardson, Samuel Stephen Porter; brother, Arthur Jackson Inman, Sr.; niece & nephew, Kristy Best & Thomas Austin Inman. Services celebrating Marshas life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Galeed Baptist Church in Bladenboro. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is honorably serving the Porter family.
