Marjorie Jacobs Moore

Marjorie Jacobs Moore age 63 of Hallsboro, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville. A native of Columbus County, Mrs. Jacobs was born on September 7, 1956. Marjorie was preceded in death by parents, Willie Bunn Jacobs and Lydia Mitchell Jacobs; and a sister, Zenobia Jacobs Spaulding. She was a nurse practitioner where she was employed at Lake Waccamaw Primary Care, several physicians offices and later as a nursing instructor at Southeastern Community College. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2019 at St. James Memorial Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. She is survived by her husband, Freddie Dean Moore of the home; two sons, Brian M. Moore and his wife, Veronica of Belews Creek and Jacob S. Moore and his wife, Amanda of Raleigh; three brothers, Willie C. Jacobs and his wife Delores, Lester V. Jacobs and his wife, Mazie of Lake Waccamaw and Barty Jacobs and his wife, Maggie of Lake Waccamaw; four grandchildren, Caroline Moore, Avery Moore, Ellie Moore and Charlotte Moore.
