Margaret Sellers Obituary

Margaret Ann Smoak Sellers, age 78 of Chadbourn and formerly of Evergreen went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Autumn Care of Shallotte. Final rites will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Williamsons Crossroads Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Lamb and Reverend Randolph Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was the widow of Jack Sellers and the daughter of the late Edna Mae Nance Pullin and Rufus Gene Smoak. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Agnes Smoak. Margaret was employed by Ramsey Chevrolet and later by Askew Chevrolet in Chadbourn for 30 years prior to her retirement in 2001. She is survived by a son Ricky E. Buffkin of Chadbourn; a daughter, Amy D. Buffkin of Jacksonville, FL; three siblings, Edward Joe Smoak of Jacksonville, FL, Gene Smoak of South Carolina and Lucinda S. Williamson of Fayetteville,; five grandchildren, Derrick, Kelly, Elliott, Amanda and Amber; five great-grandchildren, Mia, Chloe, Stephen, Jordan and Karlie. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
