Luther James White, Jr. age 54 of Evergreen died on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Christian Harvest Center (10526 Hallsboro Road S.) Whiteville. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. He was the son of the late Estelle Penny White and Luther James White, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jamie White; and several siblings. He is survived by his fiance, Miss Sherry Sellers of the home; wife, Shelia Marie Warwick Todd of Evergreen; three children, Luther Oxendine of Rowland, Kristin White and Elizabeth White both of Evergreen; siblings, Andy White of Lumberton and Lori Hinson of Bakersville, CA; two grandchildren. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
