Linda Carlene Herring Todd

Linda Carlene Herring Todd, age 72 of Whiteville, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at McLeod Hospice in Florence. Born in in Loris, SC on January 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Carl Herring and Edna Mae Dew Herring and was also the widow of the late Billy Frank Todd, who preceded her in 2000. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane Cartrette; her siblings, Dorothy Jernigan, Dale Herring, Carl Herring, Mary Kennedy, Janie Herring. A Funeral Service celebrating Mrs. Todds life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Whiteville Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Upon graduating High School, Mrs. Todd obtained her Associates Degree from Southeastern Community College in Cosmetology and later worked as a seamstress in the Textiles industry for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Caulder (Rodney) of Darlington; two sons, Darryl L. Todd (Christy) of Whiteville, Billy Dean Todd (Kathy) of Shallotte; siblings, Rachel H. Soles of Stanley, NC, Sue H. Spivey of Chadbourn, Janice H. Johnson of Bladenboro, Joy H. Duncan of Whiteville; 11 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandchildren. Worthington Funeral Home is serving the Todd family.
