Linda Onstott Obituary

Linda Ann Clewis Onstott, age 69 of Fayetteville and formally of Chadbourn, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Columbus Regional Healthcare Center in Whiteville. Born on February 22, 1949 in Columbus County, Linda was the daughter of the late William Edward Clewis and Ila Council Clewis. Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Onstott. Linda was an educator in the Fayetteville Public School System for 30 years. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include a brother, William E. "Bill" Clewis, Jr. (Carleen) of Charlotte; a niece, Christi Dudney (Kevin) of Fayetteville; one nephew, Matthew Clewis (Pattie) of Charlotte; great niece, Brooke Dudney of Fayetteville; a great-nephew, Everett Clewis of Charlotte; an Aunt, Uncle and several cousins. Memorials may be made to the Kevin Onstott Endowment Fund c/o NC State University. A service of Worthington Funeral Home, Chadbourn.
