Juanita McColskey Strickland

Mrs. Juanita McColskey Strickland, age 76 of the Macedonia Community of Evergreen, departed from this earth on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on November 4, 1942 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late James McColskey and her mother, Grace Britt McColskey of Evergreen. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Caines officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30 - 2:45 p.m., prior to the service on Tuesday. In addition to her Mother, she is survived by her husband, Billy Strickland of the home; three sons, Billy Wayne Strickland of Evergreen, Mikeal Anthony Strickland and his wife, Fonda of Creedmoor and Benjamin Paul Strickland and his wife, Dawn of Delco; five sisters, Elaine Tyler of Columbia, SC, Mary Lou Brown of Concord, Gladys Osborne of Florence, SC, Evelyn Sanders of Cayce, SC and Rose Marie Krantz of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Anthony Ryan Strickland, Meredith Paige Strickland, Cameron Paul Strickland, and Landon Chase Strickland. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
