John Franklin Bartley, Sr. age 81 of Evergreen and formerly of Parksville, NY passed on Saturday, July 21,2018 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. A memorial service will be held at Cedar Hill Mausoleum and Cemetery in Newbergh, NY on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. He was the son of the late Frances Judson Bartley and Jessie Strong Bartley. He is survived by his wife, Gail Donka Bartley of Kauneonga Lake, NY; his children, John Kelly of Maybrooke, NY, Frances B. Olivia of Sioux Falls, SD, Patricia Bartley of Honesdale, PA, John Bartley, Jr. of Monticello, NY, Tiffany Thompson of Phoenix, AR and William Bartley and his spouse Mary-Alice Burger of Evergreen, NC; a brother, Cy Bartley of Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn, NC is serving the family.
