Jerry Alton Miller

Mr. Jerry Alton Miller, age 73 of the Union Valley Community in Whiteville, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Whiteville. Jerry was born on September 3, 1946 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Carl Trigg Miller and Madge Roberts Miller. Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Miller, Madelyne Trent, and Ruth Chaney. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel from 1:30-2:45, with a graveside service following in the Union Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Edwin Skipper will officiate the service. To cherish his memory, Jerry leave behind his wife of 27 years, Sheldia Stephens Miller of the home; children, Jerry Jean Riordan (Phillip) of Hardyville, KY, Myra Green (Mitch) of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Heather Willoughby (Nathan), Joshua Keith Riordan, Chelsie Riordan; two great-grandchildren, Karsen & Kaylee.
