Ivan Glencie-Grey Turbeville

Ivan Glencie-Grey Turbeville, age 23 of Chadbourn, slipped into eternity on Friday, May 31, 2019. Born in New Hanover County on February 9, 1996. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tuncie Turbeville and Hilda Turbeville; maternal grandparents, I.V. Meares & Irene Meares. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel, with Bishop Darryl Hooker and Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Interment will follow in the Ward Station Church of God Cemetery. Ivan was currently enrolled at Western Carolina University, pursuing a degree in Engineering. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00, Saturday evening at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn, and other time at the home of Sharilyn Meares: 5890 Rough & Ready Road, Chadbourn. To cherish his memory, Ivan leaves behind his beloved parents, Mark A. Turbeville & Dixie Meares Turbeville; a precious daughter, Harper I. Turbeville, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. In Lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials may be made to Ward Station Church of God: 5478 Rough and Ready Road, Chadbourn, NC 28431.
