Ira Leon McKeithan, age 64 of Whiteville passed on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his residence. Final rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Jeffers officiating. Interment will follow in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. He was the husband of the late Esther Hines McKeithan and the son of the late Annie Louise Godwin McKeithan and Leo Carl McKeithan. He was employed by Collier Gas Company and later with Cape Fear Propane for 36 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, four siblings, Leo Carl McKeithan, Jr. of Bunn, Lillian Juanita Hines, Elsie Louise Cain and Loretta McKeithan Gore Davis all of Bladenboro.
